If you have trouble falling or staying asleep, or you wake up feeling unrefreshed, you may be suffering from insomnia. Insomnia is a symptom. It may be caused by stress, anxiety, depression, disease, pain, medications, sleep disorders or poor sleep habits. Your sleep environment and health habits may also play a role in your sleep problems.
Some medications can lead to insomnia as well. These include medications for cold and allergy ,some antihistamines and decongestants, high blood pressure heart disease thyroid disease and birth control , as well as asthma and pain medications
Some common sleep disorders can also cause poor sleep. These disorders range from restless legs syndrome (a creeping, crawling sensation in the legs only relieved by movement) to a bed partner's sleep apnea (a breathing disorder with loud snoring and brief periods when breathing stops).
Insomnia may be experienced for a few days, for two to three weeks, or it may be chronic, lasting for three weeks or more. Chronic insomnia is more difficult to treat, and doesn't go away on its own. You may need to see a physician or sleep specialist
Or try some non-medical sleep aids such as Bedtime snacks ,Herbal remedies such as valerian root, kava kava, chamomile, lemon balm, St. John’s Wort, and passionflower ,

Try not to think that you can't sleep. Read something in the bed.

Because you are on the computer.
Get into bed and shut down your mind by chanting the same thing over and over again and pay attention to your breathing and you'll be out because your thoughts won't keep you awake.

You may be stressed out and or you aren't getting enough energy out throughout your day. Try jogging or exercises. Try to clear your mind and relax...good luck.
If it continues, you may have a form of insomnia and you should consult your doctor.

Any number of reasons really. Maybe you are feeling guilty, maybe you are highly stressed, maybe you are lazy and don't exert yourself therefore when night comes around your body doesn't feel the need to sl;eep.
