Yes but it doesn't have to be a bad thing.

Well, it could be signs of a mama's boy. That can be a good thing and a bad thing. As a woman you should be refreshed that he is good with his mother. It is a sign that he will value and treat you with gentleness and respect.

On the flip side, it could be a cause for concern. Especially if his mother is running and manage his life. If he constantly uses the phrase, "Mom always does this........" Then you might have a hard core mama's boy on your hands. Now you have maturity issues at stake.

Meeting his mom on the first date? Red flag! I personally wouldn't want you meet my family until we are dating for at least a couple of months. There is a good reason for this.....

Yes he is a mamas boy but also sounds like a good son to her. It's hard to date a mamas boy because they always run to mama first for advice or etc. Maybe once you start to get serious with each other he will be man enough to tell his mom to let him live his own life. If everything stays the same then I would leave and run far!

Dear woman! You don't even realize what you've discovered! You have found a RARE TREASURE in today's world! One of the BEST things for a woman to look for in a potential husband is HOW IS HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS MOTHER? A sure indicator of how he will treat YOU is how he treats HIS MOM! I'd say you've got yourself A REAL GENTLEMAN who will RESPECT YOU because he HONOURS HIS MOTHER, just as God commands in the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:12)! The problem is, you're just not USED to seeing this! Like I said, VERY RARE! I'd say you found A PRECIOUS JEWEL OF A MAN! I'll leave it up to YOU as to what you'll DO with him! At the least, PRAY ABOUT IT and ask God's guidance! But is he a "Mama's Boy", ie a "SISSY"? Nah!

for me he is not a mamas boy, maybe he tell that things to you because he want you to know what is the importance of the mother in his life or he wants to reconcile you with her mother or something else!!!! but there is also a possible things that we may say that he is a mamas boy, if he talks none-sense about his mother and that is a one evidence that he is a certified mamas boy!!!!

Oh yes, I hope you like mama too, she is going to be a big part of his life for a long time. Nothing wrong with that, it means, should it last, that when you age he will treat you like a queen, I hope. If you are the competitve type, if you are threatened by her involvement, keep looking.

sure sounds like it to me. i married a mama's boy. i always teased him about it til i had my own children. i wasnt close to either of my parents, but now i see how much love my husband gets from his mom. i want that closeness with my children. there isnt anything wrong with it. my mother-in-law has always supported our decisions on things and i get along with her as if she were my own mother. she is a great person. i am sure ur guys mom is also. good luck.

Yep. Either that or he is just really close to her. What is his relationship with his father like? Do you think you might resent his relationship with his mother since yours did kick you out when you were 19 ?

Girl, a man who loves his mama will defiantly treat you like a women. You sound jealous of their relationship. If you like him and want to with him, stop ridiculing his relationship with his Mama.
