May I suggest dating at least 3 years before proposing? Going from a "good friend' to a romantic partner is a whole different ball of wax. It's waaaay different emotionally, psychologically, and the whole social dynamics are different. I've been very good friends with more than one woman in my life and when it became romantic, it just didn't work out. While true love does take time and nothing but time to build, don't confuse your romantic notions and your love of this woman in a "friendship" way with love. If she feels the same way then the next step is to date one another.

If you are in love, you can barely think, eat, or sleep. This person almost lifts you off the ground when she walks in the room. You're giddy together, and have your own secret 'lover's language' that nobody else understands. You're almost sick with emotions and feelings for her. When you look at her, you look into her eyes and feel one....like you're being pulled in to her soul, and her into yours...and it's not sexual. Are you in love? Yes, you might be, but if it's not like the experience I've defined above, it's worth waiting for. Good luck!

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
Is this what your love for each other looks like? If so, then you are in love. If not, then maybe you need to work on some things.

friendships is a good start, knowing each other is perfect. if you think that this person is the one for you, then go ahead, why not give a try-proposing! but take note, if you propose, be sure its in the right place and right time, good timing as they say.

It is hard to say. Some relationships are just plain ole' addictive. Others are like comfortable pair of jeans.
If you can't imagine your life without her......then that just might be love.
