Not anymore. When I was younger and stupider I held out the hope that their might be. Not I'm older, wiser and much more bitter I accept that there simply isn't anyone for me.

I used to totally believe in that. Now I believe that we make our own future.
We can be hooked on the passionate addictive feelings that passion brings, which is fleeting everntually if the two people arn't compatable.
I used to believe that there would be just one love for me and that love would conquer all. It doesn't, but it doesn't hurt to try.
I have been hurt by love. And I have been blessed by love.
A relationship can be foundation built or an instant spark of chemistry that happens for no reason at all. (that is explainable that is)
Don't give up. But, also don't just sit around and wait for it to happen... you need to be in motion to make things happen.
I am a strange mixture of jadded- yet ever hopefull that eventually there will be another someone out there. That is what dreams are made of.........hope.

Yeah, I'd LIKE to believe that that one's true, but in recent years, I am more inclined to believe that this is just something that all those lucky people who already HAVE someone say to the REST of us to try & make us FEEL better!!! After all, what else CAN they say to someone who is alone & miserable, while THEY are mated & HAPPY???!?
Some people are just plain LUCKY in that way. One relationship fails, and they find a NEW one right away! Must be NICE. I'm intelligent, attractive, and not overweight. Do you think any of these attributes have helped me find a suitable mate?!
NOT A CHANCE!!!!!!

I once heard a story about how when men and women were created they were one body, one soul, and one mind, well after a while god decide to split them in 2, now we spend our lives looking for the other halves of our souls so we can feel complete.
I think there is some one out there for everyone. You might find them when you are 3 playing in your sand box or you might meet them when you are 60, whenever, I do think you will eventually find them. Just a thought.

Of course sometimes it takes years to find them. I grandfather was married three times before he finally found his soulmate. She is not my biological grandmother but I love her just as much. She has been through 3 rounds of cancer and it is back again. She doesnt have too much longer and i worry for my grandfather because he will die without her. I honestly believe loosing her will kill him. I is amazing to see love like that because it is rare to find nowadays. My parents have been married 32 years and couldn't be with any one else. I have been in love with my husband since I first laid eyes on him almost 7 years ago. We have had our problems but I know that we will be together even after death because I was born to love him, born to be his wife. He is half of my soul
