After the attacks of 911 I felt most proud of the president of the USA. He had a moving memorial service with people of all faiths.
He helped unite this country, the only time I felt us all coming together. No matter how you feel about him or anyother elected official we are to pray for them.

Yes, his finest moment was probably immediately after 9/11. He acted quickly and decisively while appearing constantly to reassure the American people.

Of course, some might argue the rest of his presidency has been bad enough that it's not like there's much else to compete for his greatest moment.

I think at the very least he was an opportunist that used a serious crises to foist a very un-American agenda on the people of this country.

The terrorists got lucky and caught us with our pants down. The president and his ilk have only made matters worse. We should have put our money on securing our borders, improving intelligence and having the patience to whack the terrorist bastards when we were ready. Approaching this mess like a WW II engagement only plays into the hands of our enemies and strengthens their resolve.

Bush is a fool.

Err, seems to me like too much praying by some of the world is what got us in the 9/11 mess to begin with.

And it's easy to unite when everyone experiences the surge of a common revenge.

No, I'm sorry. He's an embarrassment, he's stupid, he's a terrible leader and probably a weak person as well. I can't stand the sight of him and if I had been drawn to pray for the victims of 911 I would most certainly NOT have done it with him to lead me. The sooner he's gone the better.

He is the anti-Christ.- a false prophet who arises under the false name of God. He will succor the enemy of our lord and awaken the nine headed serpent - have not these things come to pass?
On a human level, I recall his pansy *** hiding behind a bunch of 8 yr olds on 9/11, anyone else remember that? Why else would he be reading a symbol of Satan - the goat? And three days (3!) read your bibles, he emerged to view the destruction. The end of days is coming. Have not the dead been taken from their graves in New Orleans adn been cast among the living? Has he not brought fire and death to the city! Who can bear witness to these signs?

For a president that, in my opinion, has come under fire repeatedly for a very long time.....I think you are absolutely correct. I watched his address tonight, and I liked what he had to say.
