Yes. There are three basic types of mobile CB antennas. Base loaded, center loaded and top loaded. Most motorcycle CB/AM/FM antennas are center loaded (called tri-way antennas). On smaller systems (no AM/FM on the same antenna) we use top loaded "sticks". The base loaded "sticks" don't work on a cycle due to the lousy ground plane.

yes but make sure you use a SW meter to match the CB and antenna
