What exactly is the goal? To kill everyone but the Muslims? To take over the world? Just to get Western influence out of the Middle East? What would make you happy? Can we all co- exist?

Ok I will say this again for those who cant read and would rather bash me...A question posed ABOUT islamic extremists is obviously more appropriate...damn give me a freaking break. Its an honest question.Do you have any thoughts...reflections, etc.

Apple please tell me how 9/11 massacre could honestly further the cause of these "freedom fighters"? Those innocent people were not over there "oppressing" anyone. They were men and women of all races, religions, and nationalities going about an honest days work.

Poki, if this is the more common practice of Islam then why are so many so quick to jump on Osama's bandwagon? If it is a sin to kill and its in the Quran how is all thats going on justified by the supposedly religious. Whats the angle?

no they kill Muslims too!!! who knows what their intentions are but all we know is that they are not Muslims the second they think of harming an innocent person and that they will rot in hell.
yes they claim that they want the western influence out of the Muslim countries all together but we know that the middle east in particular has much western influence especially American influence on the politics and Trade!!!
as a Muslim i belive that we can ceratinly co-exist and here's what Allah tells us about other nations.

Islamic extremists or facists, have taken the true religion and faith of Islam and twisted and perverted it. They are wanting the destruction of the Jews mainly Israel, but in whole, the jews. They hate America for helping out the Jews when they were having problems with the Islamic extremists. We have been warned not to get involved with their "cleansing" of filth in their holy lands.
This goes all the way back to Biblical days when Moses led the slaves(jews) out of Egypt to Canaan and they fought and took over Canaan.
For as long as there are twisted and perversions of Islam there will always be hardcore Islamic facists trying to "cleanse" the world. And it is because we decided to be the "bigger" country and help out another country, that Bin Laden and all the other Islamic facists hate us. We helped their enemy and now we are tainted in their eyes.

I think there are a good number of Muslims content in their personal religious beliefs who don't adhere to the extremism that represents the most widely publicized faction of their faith. As for those that are extreme, from what I've read and learned about them, in their truly perfect world, everyone would convert to Islam. Their anger towards the US stems from knowing that somehow, a country full of non-believers has risen to such power, and they'd prefer us to be stripped of this power until such a a time as we will "see the light," as it were, and convert to Islam. Missionary sentiments gone a bit too far? I think so.

I'm not a Moslem but having worked in Palestine (West Bank) I may be able to help.
There are some Moslems who seriously believe Islam must rule the world one day. Most of these are content to let Allah sort it out in his own time but a few see themselves as giving him a hand - physically, militarily.
But mostly it's a sense of injustice that leads them to support violence against Israel and the West. You need to know the history - a big subject. It's also a sense of outrage against what they perceive as Western decadence. In a society where women's bodies must be covered and adultery is still punished unofficially by murder or at least casting out of society, the stuff they see on cable TV and the internet - always what Western men and women do - convinces them our "Christian" society - as they see it - is depraved and asking to be wiped out like ancient Rome. Maybe they have a point.

Islam isn't the problem . Islam is a very peacful rreligion . it says that you should respect all religions and dont kill anyone. what those people are doing is nothing but extremism, it has nothing to do with any religion at all. People simply dont know what is Islam ...

i have read it. and a more disjointed piece of rambling i've yet to come across. too many 'smite the infidels on the neck' for my taste.

Look,I don't know word for word,but I will tell you this much.When their prophet muhammad claimed that God had appeared to him and told him that he should fight with swords(and weapons)to his people(of whom were uneducated,inbred,you get the pic.)he brainwashed them and they believed him.Since when did God say you have to fight with swords?Anyway,they even wrote a book(the Kuran).That's what brainwashing does,especially to uneducated and unfaithful people.It exists to this day.He wanted to control his people,and he did.It's about control.Uneducation=control, dictatorship,competition=bad, bad,bad.Some of these poor extremists beleive that if they kill,they will get 70 virgins in heaven....loool They think they're getting in heaven,let alone they're gonna get girls in the end!What are they gonna do when they get rejected up there too,blow up heaven??
