I'm taking beginners french for my foreign language requirement in college at the moment, but I would definitely like to have some really beneficial supplemental instruction. I bought a CD-ROM for 30 dollars recently, and it didn't help me much at all. Does anyone know where a good teaching assistant might be purchased at, or even downloaded off the internet from? Thank you.

You could try Barron's Mastering French. It includes a booklet and 12 audio cassettes. Your local library might have it, thus you could borrow it or try to buy it. It's rather expensive to buy the book with the cassettes: $71.99, but the paperback costs only: $15.26.

There's Barron's website below:

J'espère que ça vous aide. Bonne chance!
