I don't understand why some people think only arabs and pakistanis are muslim?

There is nothing wrong with being a muslim. Islam is a way of life. It is how you communicate with God and how you live your life on this earth. The true Islam is not what you see on TV, Bin Laden, Afghanistan, etc... etc... Those who commit terroristic acts are themselves despised by the muslim community. True muslims are peace-loving people. Those that you see on TV are the fanatical few whose acts get amplified by the media thereby causing despicable impact among the uneducated majority. I have spent some time with muslims and it pains me knowing these people are being stigmatized by the whole world as monsters or killers or savages, feared and hated at the same time. It also pains me seeing these people treated as such when they're actually humans just like any other human beings, be it catholic, protestants or whatever, capable of giving love and being loved.

I'm proud of being a Muslim ,too. I agree with you. The number of people who are converting to islam is growing, and it is a big happiness for us that the people of the world are beginning to understand real Islam despite anti-Islam advertisements.
i'm a Muslim but I'm not Arab or Pakistani. I wish someday comes that all people from all religions would live together with no fear or worry.

Yes, Alhamdulillah (Thanks GOD) that ppl are coming to The Truth. As, Islam is for the whole of human-kind, beyond the boundaries of racial, gender discrimintaion. Islam is for All, whether Arab-Non_Arab, american-asian, white-black, male-female, there is No kind of discrimintion in Islam. Peace to All.
