Read both starts to Genesis. It is The Self made one ,the Ancient of Days,The CREATOR that is the Holy Spirit as it made all the souls that are and will be fromm its own body before starting to make the physical universe.

John who was definately a prophet of God if he felt the importance of the angel talking to him , he realised that the angels are the holy ghost he fell at his feet but he said worship God becuse i am ......22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard [them]. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
22:9 Then saith he unto me, See [thou do it] not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
fellowservant of thy brothers - the prophets. Co-worker as the holy Ghost, holy spirit is described.
Evil spirit posses people, we are in trouble because of a group of angels - Lucifer,who is the satan and his fellow angels.
So does the holy ghost.
Old testament mostly is revelation of God the Father- Jehovah,
New Testament is mostly the revelation of God the Son- Yeshua (Jesus),
But as the Book of the revelation of Jesus Christ describes the connection between man to God
1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
God gave to Jesus, Jesus gave to Angel, Angel gave it to John.
These angels stood with God when there was a division in heaven, war in heaven due to Lucifer.they believed God on faith alone.
