Three questions:
a) Whatyou should do is forgive the person before it consumes you.
b) Christians break the commandments because we remain as human as any other human. We all blow it.
c) Hateful and hypocritical - this is a "bore false witness" gig. Some are and at some times I suspect we all are. It get's squishy to judge an entire group though. The leap from one to many or all....to big.
Go to the person, share your concern. If you feel you do not receive satisfaction, ask him.her to go with you to their pastor.

Why are you implying that 'Christians' break the commandments? By your own story there was a Christian, single not plural. By you also using 'they' you are implying more than one again. Are you just against Christians all together so you thought up this story but didn't take the time to figure out others would see right through it.

they can act devout and say it all they want but if they were a true Christan then they would know better. that isn't just a crime against you but against god. a true Christan would fear the wrath of god and not do that. this is why i do not belong to a religion but i put my faith in GOD some people use their religion to justify what they say or do. that is their actions not GODs or even what GOD wants of them. GOD expects more from us that the religions fail to teach. not every thing is a sin but the religions make it a sin because they just dont like something take tattoos for example where in the bible does it say though shalt not ware a tattoo. the bible does say not to cut your hair at any time but people are doing it every day. what they miss on the tattoo is it says do not do these things in the memory of the dead.

Catholics are the unique Christians. the 1st church, which Christ began became the Catholic church. For the 1st thousand years, there became merely one Christian Church. In 1054, it split into 2 branches, the eastern Orthodox Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic Church. there have been in hassle-free terms 2 Christian branches for yet another 500 years. In 1518, Martin Luther began a third branch, Protestantism. The third branch splintered into many denominations. you're probable recognizing that Catholics are actually not Protestants. the unique Christian Church remains Catholic. The Amish is one in all the numerous Protestant denominations. Jehovah Witnesses are actually not a Protestant denomination yet an offshoot of Christianity via fact they have faith Jesus is the angel Michael and not the Son of God.

I don't live the Christian paradigm anymore but theoretically you are to take it up with the person who has aggressed you. If this does not work you bring it to the church, assuming you attend the same one. If this can't be done or does not work pray and set your intentions for the best for this person.

Pray for them. And not all Christians are hateful and hypocritical. And nobody is perfect, every one sins occasionally, that is why Jesus died on the Cross...for our sins. God forgives, all you have to do is ask.

Confront this person and tell them what a bad witness they are to you and others. Have him make right the wrong he's or she's done to you.

Christians no matter how hard we try, we blow it now and then. I'm truly sorry.

Beat him at his own game. Get a couple of Bible verses together about how God treats sinners, and a good verse or two about lying, then type it neatly on a piece of paper, include what really happened, and give it to him, or whoever you feel would be amused by the story.

because people are human, and theres only so much crap a person can stand we are not Jesus,we just want to be like him and as long as we are on this earth,we will have big saddles to fill and sometimes we may trip and fall,so you should forgive the person and look at your own attitude, and how you provoked this person.
