I remember it quite well. I was working as a Transport Driver for the Disabled in Waukesha, Wisconsin(Central Time). I was having a good morning. I was talking with a 19 year old woman. She was so excited because she had received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost recently because she heard my testimony. She was so happy to see me. After I dropped her off, I was sent all the way to the other side of the County. I turned on my radio on to listen to Joyce Meyers as usual for that time of the day. I noticed that it was 8:55AM. I all of a sudden began to feel anxiety. This was very unusual for me. I was feeling very anxious so I did not know what to do, so I began to pray in tongues very loudly until I arrived at 9:10, at the Nursing Home. I had to wait for almost an hour which is very unusual, so I began to watch TV. I was stunned to see what was happening. I thought that we were watching a Movie! I could not believe it! After I dropped my rider off. The office called me to return to Waukesha and to take an hour lunch when I arrived, another unusual thing, scince it was so early, 11:00AM, and also I usually got only half an hour. I skipped lunch and headed straight to the "Oil Of Joy" Ministries. They always had morning prayer on Tuesdays, beginning at 11:00. I was one of the first to arrive, but then people began to pour in. We were mourning and warring in the Spirit. After Lunch, They sent me to pick up a person in Downtown Milwaukee. I didn't want to go, but I did. I had to wait for almost 2 more hours. I got to watch and pray. I was there for such a time as this.

I was so stunned and drained. I noticed how quiet and peaceful the skies were. It was so strang. I was depressed. Gas prices were soaring, up to $6.00 a gallon. There were rumors of more attacks. We had no idea, I expected more attacks quickly. But Wed. night was Bible Study at Church. It was a special night because another young Lady who I led to the Lord months earlier was getting water Baptized along with my Mother-In-Law who recently received the Lord also! The joy of the Lord entered me after the Baptisms. It was such a needed relief! It brought me back to what is important. There were people dying without knowing Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

This tradgedy has waken us up. There are more Prayer Warriors praying for the peace of this Country and Israel. I pray that this Country turns to the Lord and Revival will fill our streets. I pray that this Country will embrace the Moral Values of God and change our laws to reflect our Repentance. Only God can protect us and He has done such a great job, we have forgotten the consequences of letting evil go unchecked. This tradgedy has opened many doors to reach the lost. We have many enemies. May we never forget!

I was on an American Navy ship in the Middle East. I was there when non-Arabs came together to support us, and also there when the Shiite Muslims and the Palestinians cheered.

I came home work after working a grave yard my family was getting ready for the day. I was eating a bowl of Captian crunch my mother was watching fox news when they broke in and said the first plane had hit tower one. it seemed like 20 minutes later the another plan hit tower 2 the first words out of my mouth were that was no accident and then there was silence for what seem like an hour nobody said anything the only sound in the house was the voices from the reporter on the TV we seemed to know that the world had had just changed for ever and i knew that my brother,s would be leaving for war soon my father said some where there will be hell to pay for this and the the next day I noticed that the mood of people was changing from shock and disbelief to angry. I think my grandfather said it best once again the have they have awakened a sleeping giant and now he is angry. As for me I hope terrorist go to bed wondering is this it will i be dead I the morning.I don't like this war my feeling is we should bring are troops home and just nuke the bastards unlike my brothers I am not willing to put my butt on the line so I can listen to some liberal abuse the freedom of speech and bad mouth America when I feel like duct tapping his or her scrawny butt to missle and giving the a first hand look at the war. I feel like we lost this war right hear in our own back yard. Divide we fall dam liberal traitors should be hung for treason. Well may God have mercy on America.

I was walking into work when someone stopped me and said they were shutting the building. I had no idea what had happened, I don't watch TV or listen to news in the morning. I got the gist of the attacks, and immediately went to my church. People were showing up to just sit in the sanctuary and pray. I'm not sure how long I was there. I can still remember seeing one person at a time come in, looking like warriors off a battlefield.

I didn't even know what had happened until I got home and turned on the TV and saw those planes hitting the buildings again, and again and again.

The thing that broke my heart in pieces was watching the man who was the head of the brokerage firm, Cantor Fitzgerald. He had lost almost everyone. He was hysterical. I put my arms around the television and starting sobbing.

I don't think, in all my life, I've seen such courage, generosity and strength than the American people showed in the days and weeks after it happened.

I was at work, which was a school filled with kindergarten-2nd grade students.

I felt the shock and disbelief of what was going on, and also felt anxiety that we were under attack. Not knowing what was going to happen next was eerie.

Parents were calling and asking if they should pick up their children, I told them that their children were as safe there as they would be anywhere else, and that the school was under lockdown. I also told them if they felt they should come get their children, feel free to do so. Nobody would argue the point.

It was a day from the pits of hell and I will never forget it. The pictures and videos of the people falling to their deaths was the worst thing I have ever seen.

Thanks for sharing. I was working the Night Auditing shift for the Super 8 Motel in Big Timber MT. It was just before 7am (MT Time) when the first tower was struck.
I usually turned on the T.V. to a news channel for the guests as I got the breakfast ready. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Of Course I was like everyone else, thinking that It was some weird freak accident at first. I was watching when the second tower hit. Then we suspected that it was a terror attack, but we thought it was over. Then the Pentagon was hit and the nation started praying. Flight 93 was still in the air.

Have you considered the relevance of all this? These people, (Flight 93 passengers and crew) sacrificed themselves. Nobody can see where God steps in here. They crash on Lamb(something road) and in Shanksville. I find it amazing.

I remember staying the night at my boyfriends house. He did not have T.V. at the time so I found out later that afternoon on my way to school. I put the radio on the local rock station, and at first, i though they were doing some sort of radio story like war of the world, but I soon realized what was happening. I had to pull over and just sit and listed. When I finally got to school, I went to the student center where they have public televisions. I don't think I will ever forget that day.

I was in my high school biology class as a sophomore. It's crazy to think it was that long ago and it still feels like it just happened last year. My friend told me about it when we got into class. He said that a plane just crashed into a building in New York city. I thought that he was joking or that it was a small plane that hit a small building. I had no idea it would be that big. About a half hour later our principle announced the tragedy over the PA and everyone was in shock. I will never forget that day. It has changed everyone's life forever.

I was running late for class. On the way there, as I was listening to the radio in my car, I heard about the planes. I even remember where I was on what street when I heard it. When I got into class, I sat there for a bit, but then soon interupted it to announce what had happened. Then I was asked to pray (I was going to Seminary). After class, some people told others in the school, and they put a TV in the lounge-room for people to watch the coverage.
In other words, I was the messenger of bad new.

I was getting ready for school, I was 16, and my dad called from work and said "Turn on the TV, a plane hit the World Trade Center." As I was watching, I saw the second one hit and ran and woke my mom up and told her what was happening. That's when I knew something serious was happening and that it wasn't an accident. I couldn't watch the rest of it because I had to get ready.

When I got to school everyone was talking about it. My first period was History, and my teacher Mr. Tom let us watch it...actually all my teachers all day let us watch it, but my history teacher was the one that told us "This is history. You're going to remember this for the rest of your life." Then we wrote a journal entry about how we were felling, what we thought was going on, how this would effect us, etc. And I thought that was really cool of him to tell us to do that because now I can go back and read exactly what that moment meant to me.

I was getting ready for work I used to drive for a charter bus company in NYC this oldest company in charter bussing founded in 1929ish. The night before I had picked up the chicago white socks ..Yes the professional team. they were coming to play the NY Yankees the next day..9/11

Obviously that never happened My brother called on his cell ...I was in the Bronx at the time. He said turn on the T.V. and to our horror both buildings were on fire. I already knew there was no going to work..as usual.

I called my Job everything was shutdown...they answered the call but whatever work we had was null and void.
One of our drivers did a wall street run that morning and was right there at the time ..He had seen those who were jumping from the ledges. Later that day I got a call to bring the Chicago White Sox out to Ohio where they would meet with a company that would take them the rest of the way. From there I went to pick up the Radio city Rockettes from Cleveland Oh

After I got back to the city with them...our jobs changed from corporate transportation ,or school runs or weddings and barmitzvahs to funerals...I had people on my bus who were in the building but made it out ....who were told to go back in the building ..and recall the ones who went back and those who made it out...I did about 5 funerals other drivers did about 4 or 5 too.The Company still operates in NYC.
