If your referring to Islamic extremists then I'd say yes. They will kill military and civilians alike in order to further their cause. The civilian deaths aren't accidents. They were/are targets. sounds pretty similar to me.

Fascism is a political philosophy which exalts the group over individual and is under authoritarian rule. Nazism is the fascist movement in Germany under the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi Party). So, Nazism is a form of Fascism.

Islamic fascism, Islamofascism, would include groups such as Al Qaeda and countries like Iran.

I would say Islamic fascism does resemble Nazism. They both sacrifice individualism and lives for the their greater cause. They believe people of other religions/ethnicities are inferior and deem their lives expendable. They both promoted a level of brainwashing and propoganda which promotes fear and hatred.

Regardless of what others think, Islamic fascism was not caused nor inflamed by Bush and his political views. Islamic fascism was brewing since Europeans colonized the middle east. It then boiled over when the UN drew false borders accross the region after WWII and placed a select few into power over those regions and denied the people the persuit of happiness.

Fascism defined: a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism. By definition, any fascism is fascism. While one may not agree with Bush or his policies, neither he nor the US government- and especially not the US people - meet the definition of fascism.

u ppl are just scared & will believe anything ur govt. says. infact, ur govt. scares the hell out of u ppl for their own benefits, for example, whenever the election nears, an al-qaida video is launched saying to slay all infidels, and u ppl get so scared and think bush is the man who can save u from them, and vote for him, and he (republicans) gets elected for another term in the office, when actually its all a hoax being run by ur govt., who are using ur fear to rule u.
Also, there is NO fascism in Islam. Just 'coz bush says so, it doesn't make it True. Look 1st, at the meaning of 'fascism' and ponder over it a while, then think of Islam, if u have some knowledge of Islam, u will get to know that Islam is NOT fascism. fascism is what mousillini had it going in italy, and there is Nothing like that in Islam, infact Islam condemns fascism. dont hang on to every word of ur dumb president (i m Not the only one, who says it ... infact it was started amongst americans).

Infact if anyones alike Nazism today, its bush and co., they are the ones who want to take over the world and wants to dominate it with their ideology (of democracy) everywhere, they are the ones to send out death-squads to take out the leaders of South American countries who don't see eye-to-eye with usa, americans are the ones who set up puppet-regimes in the rest of the world and suck others resources (oil) like a leech sucks blood of a body, and americans are the ones who are killing thousands of ppl in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now looking onto Iran, only for oil, americans are the ones taking on one country at a time (esp. Muslim ones) in their attempt for global domination. So, if there is anyone alike Nazi today, its america, and bush is the hitler (well hitler wasn't as dumb, but still) of today's world.

a lot of people say bush's regime resebles nazism and then they say since bush is the leader all americans follow. that is not true most americans don't agree with anything bush does. Bush's war in iraq is a personal war that started with George Bush Senior. hmm but to your question only the terrorists. im not muslim i dont think islamic fascism resemble in nazism its only the terrorists that use islamic religion in the wrong way.

dolphin_enter,
I looked up the definitions of Fascism, and Nazism. I think it would be more accurate to call it Islamic Nazism. The reason why is because of this definition:
The ideology and practice of the Nazis, especially the policy of racist nationalism, national expansion, and state control of the economy.

We know that they are EXTREMELY racist against Israel. Nationalism in it's most diabolical application. National expansion is evident in this Jihad. And state control, they want that with more than just the economy!

sure does

Surah II: 98 – “Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers.”
Surah II: 191-193 – “Kill them [unbelievers] wherever you find them….Fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah.”
Surah II: 216 – “Fighting is enjoined on you, and it is an object of dislike to you; and it may be that you dislike a thing while it is good for you, and it may be that you love a thing while it is evil for you, and Allah knows, while you do not know.”
Surah III: 19 – “Surely the true religion with Allah is Islam…and whoever disbelieves in the communications of Allah then surely Allah is quick in reckoning.”
Surah IV: 104 – “Be not weak in pursuit of the enemy.”
Surah V: 51 – “O you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whosoever among you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”
Surah VIII: 12 – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.”
Surah VIII: 15-17 – “O you who believe! When you meet those who disbelieve marching for war, turn not your backs to them. Whoever shall turn his back to them on that day – unless he turn aside for the sake of fighting or withdraws to a company – then he, indeed, becomes deserving of Allah’s wrath, and his abode is hell… So you did not slay them, but it was Allah who slew them…that He might confer upon the believers a good gift from Himself; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing.”
Surah IX: 29 – “Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth… until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.”
Surah IX:33 – “[Allah] it is who sent His Apostle with guidance and the religion of truth, that He might cause it to prevail over all religions, though polytheists may be averse.”
Surah IX: 73 – “O Prophet! Strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is their destination.”
Surah IX: 123 – “O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in your hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).”
