I love my guy a lot. We love each other a lot. He's working. I'm doing degree and working part- time. Recently he asked me a favor. He want to be an insurance agent but he's busy with work and couldn't be able to study for the exam. So he told me that he would register me to be as an insurance agent and I sit for the exam. Then when I pass the exam he would do the business on behalf of me and I too can do it. Since I love him a lot so I agreed as I want him to be happy and by helping him I feel happy too. When I have any problem of favor he never let me down and always be there for me. I also want to do the same as I really want our relationship be a happy one. What do you think? Is the thing that I'm doing is ok?

No what you are doing could be considered illegal. He is bascially asking YOU to cheat. When YOU register and take the classes the certficate will be in YOUR name. He will not be able to be an insurance agent because HE did not take the classes and pass the course to get the certificate. If he intends to try to practice insurance sales under YOUR name he is attempting to fraud...that is a federal offense here in the U.S.

It is commendable that you love him and Will do anything for him. However, you have to draw the line somewhere. What you are suggesting is called CHEATING, no matter what the reason is.

You can help him other ways - if he really wants to do it, he has to sit for the exams himself and not expect you to do it.

What happens if in the future something goes wrong, who will shoulder the responsibility or the blame. What if he asks you to do something else for him and it will not stop - believe me - once you do it once, he will expect you to do it always and there will be other things that will be asked of you.

So my vote is NO - if this is really important to HIM, he will make the time for it, in spite of his busy schedules.

The hell it is. Ok.

He can't do that and neither can you. That is why you have to be licensed. Moreover, the insurance business is all about residuals something you will loose once caught. Moreover the agency you work for won't go for it. Who wants that type of liability.

Is he trustworthy? Don't follow your heart, but your mind. Do you trust him? Don't think twice. Don't keep things hanging in a relationship. If you love him and are very confident in him, then love him and be with him. It isn't very complicating, keep it simple. But don't lose yourself while loving him, have a life of your own. It'll do you good in future.

Your local bar association has a hotline for legal questions. You should ask them. If it is at all illegal, tell your bf this and I'm sure he'll agree you shouldn't do it.

It's not wrong if you intend to participate and you're going to be a part of the business,as long as you trust him :)

WOULD NOT DO THIS. IT WRONG AND HE KNOW THAT
IT IS WRONG FOR YOU TO DO THIS IT CHEATING NO WAY
