Good question. I think those people want the rewards of being saved, but they don't want the inconvenience of repenting, or turning away from, their sinful ways. Some people even think everyone will go to Heaven, but that would be the same as God rewarding the people who disobeyed Him, hated Him, and fought against Him here on Earth. That's absolutely silly.
Blessings to you!

The sad part is that a lot of people profess the desire to go to heaven but do not want to fulfill the requirements:
[Mark 12:30] You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.'
[Mark 12:31] The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Honestly, I didn't know they did (want to go to Heaven). Most that don't want to worship God...don't believe there is a God and therefore don't believe there is a Heaven...
But maybe I'm wrong.
I am a Christian and my destination is Heaven, want to join me?

Where did you hear that one at? I dont worship god and I dont believe in heaven neither, therefor I dont want to go to heaven. I can't want to go to a place I dont believe exist in the first place. I don't even know where you even got the ideal that they do want to go to heaven.

The Father has promised through the Son that all that he has shall be given to those who are obedient to his commandments. They shall increase in knowledge, wisdom, and power, going from grace to grace, until the fulness of the perfect day shall burst upon them
