Generations do not matter as they are meerly a mark of time... What is important is the closeness of a common relative if it takes 4 or fewer jumps to reach a common relative (for instance Son (you)... Father.. Grandfather... Great grandfather(common relative) the match could potentially create children with genetic diseases disorders...
However if both of you can count 5+ relatives before hitting on a common relative you should be distantly enough related to produce children without a more than normal chance of genetic disorder....

Technically convinced, third cousin or larger is concidered threat-free because you're so some distance bumped off that there is amazingly little blood relation any more desirable. At 4th you're a million/sixteenth blood relation, no longer truly a lot to speak of.

Only in certain states...j/k. My husbands parents are 5 cousins, but I don't think it mattered. :) They are in their 80's and grew up in a small community. After the war he came back and married her. Their sons are both very intelligent (i married one) one is a Engineer the other an Accountant. And it's not like they see the same cousins at family reunions. 5th cousins people....the line is long...lol.

Okee dokee... let me put this as plainly as I can... would you stick your tounge in a light socket? would you dance in a lightning storm while flying a kite?
If not, then WHY would you risk the lifes of your own future children... ?
Now that I am done vomiting on my shoe, I can say, I don't think it is such a great idea...

Well since I have never done such an act...any answer will be completely in theory. Therefore, to better theorize...might sombody on here pretend to be my cousin? Then afterwards I might be able to better answer this!

No way!!!!!!! Now you should know better than that. I don't care how far of cousins you are, if you know you are kin in any kind of way, you shouldn't mess with them.
