My best friend Amanda is so idk she is just so great. We have been best friends for years an I like like her. I love her. The only problem is my ex best friend Joey is amandas bf. An they are really close well she is he is just using her. I have seen him making out with 3 different girls at the mall an he dates girls just for sex. I havn't told amanda abut him cheating an using her because I don't wanna see her hurt an I know she will be more than ever. But when she finds out she will still be hurt an probally mad at me cause I didnt tell her. But Joey is a bad guy. He is into drugs, sex, guns an aton more ****. Amanda doesnt know that because he acts totally different around her. But she doesnt even know how much I like her well I'm pretty sure she doesnt. Idk if I should tell her I like her before I tell her about Joey or should I even tell her about Joey? Or should I not say anything. I just can't see her get hurt... What do I do. What do I say?

Have another friend tell Amanda about her bf cheating (if you have seen it, others must have as well). If you tell her she will associate you with bad feelings. You can then be there to support her and tell her how wonderful she is and how she doesn't need a loser like that. Just be wonderful yourself (be sweet but strong and supportive) and hopefully she will see what has been right in front of her all along. Just don't force the issue or it may back fire on you. Unless you are completely hideous or there are other reasons she has for not reciprocating your feelings, if you spend enough time together you should be able to easily let her know how you feel. Be ready for rejection though, and if she does, still insist on being friends! Don't let the friendship end simply because she doesn't love you or you will lose everything, won't you?

Omg, u should tell her about Joey because if u don't tell her and she finds out u knew all along, she would prodadly be p-ed off at u. but if u tell her u might have a chance when she gets over him but as far as u hurting her she is going to get hurt alot worse if u don't tell her........good luck and i hope it turns out ok in the end

If you care about her, you need to tell her about Joey first. Don't tell her that you like her until after she has had a chance to deal with the bf issue.
Analogy: She is watching tv on the second floor of a house that is burning underneath her. Do you warn her about the fire, or ask her if she would like to share a snack while she is watching her show?

You should tell her the truth and tell her that you think she is a great person with alot of heart and you think it's messed up what he is doing to you so thats why you are telling her. When she starts to heal tell her how you feel about her.

okay i think the best thing is, if you two are still friends just go up to joey tell him that you like her too.... you know never hide anything from what you like and if you like her then you like her you can't stop that... just do what seems the best and listen to your heart... if you make mistake it's okay everyone make mistake...but i hope that she understand that you like her too and that you really have feelings for her but she has to understand that know the truth hurts... and she has to deal with it.... just try to cheer up......and yeah tell her that you like her okay man don't wait until it's too late.....when she's feeling lonely she'll come to you and ask you to talk to her and be a man and talk to her don't let her cry and suffer pain....okay... man good luck i hope this helps....peace out brother

especially wen she finds out how cool u r for telling her
but ease her in and expect alot

but in the end it would just hurt her more if u left it alone
