_______________September_______________________
Today is the first day of September. That means fall is rapidly approaching. I love fall but I despise what comes after it. Winter, the season of death. How I hate it. All living things seem to die. Everything halts. Life comes to a standstill for a time. I can never seem to get warm enough.

I am also a recently published poetry author.
. I play two musical instruments the harmonica and the banjo. I write poetry and short stories, as well as diatribes.

the "International Library of Poetry" is a scam. I got an email promoting it and I actually sent them in a poem (a really bad one) and they published it ... then they kept sending me emails trying to get me to buy the books that it was published in or buy space in their poetry books to put in a biography or spend a lot of money to go to their poetry conventions where I'd have a "chance" to win some sort of poetry contest.

No offence, but fo you know what the International Library of Poetry really is or how they conduct their business? They made you try and buy their book, huh?

This is basically a money making scheme for a company that uses vanity publishing as their tactic to get people whose work has been published (i.e. everybody who sumbits a poem - no poem, no matter how dreadful gets knocked back).

Keep writing though - the world needs more poets!

I agree with jeremy on this one. Also was contacted by them and sent in an awful poem just to see if they would publish it and they did.The international library of poetry is a SCAM SCAM SCAMMMMM.all they want is money,as long as you pay them they will print whatever you write.Best suggestion would be to try and have your poetry published somewhere else, who knows maybe you actually do have the talent for it.

Congrats, too bad the site's a scam and getting published in it means diddly in the scheme of things.
