1. If you dumped him, focus on all those reasons why. If he dumped you, focus on how you don't want someone who doesn't want you, cuz what's that? its' nothing, that's what.
2. Get busy. Work and stuff. Occupy your mind. If you sit and mope and eat ice cream and cry, you're going to stay that way forever maybe.
3. Listen to fun-ish music. Something very upbeat, with happy undertones. NO LOVES SONGS. Only ever listen to love songs if you are with someone. Otherwise they make you hurt inside and then focus again on your sadness.
4. Get out and do stuff. Go have a social life. Flirt with other guys. Flirting's so fun and it gets your mind off one lame guy.
5. Pay attention to the fun-ness of being freeee. You can play, do what YOU want, not what that guy always wanted to do, and you can flirt shamelessly, and look at other guys freely. Then you can enjoy being single. When you're happy single, only then can you be happy in a relationship. Once these things are all accomplished you are ready for your next relationship which is going to be really awesome cuz u've grown, and loved and lost. You have experience, and new deepness. And a new man will love all of yourself.

Sleep with his brother/best friend/dad...

lol j/k

It all depends on how long you dated him. I've been told it takes 1/2 the time you dated someone to get over them. So if you dated for a year, it should only take 6 months to get over it.

Just hang out with your friends, pick up a hobby, join a club, work out and make yourself look super hot.

1.Put away any reminders of him (pictures...).
2.Keep yourself busy. Take up a new hobby. Try golf, sewing, learn a new language, travel...
3.Break off any contact you have with him. At least for a while.
4. If those don't work get yourself a rebound man. Someone you will not get attached to.

Try and enjoy life. Hang out with your sisters and friends. Go to the movies. Go out to eat. Go shopping. Forget about finding some one else right away or you will be rebounding. It is for the better.
