This is for my study but i have never headr of over fat, and its not mentioned anywhere in my text.

You can be of normal weight but have too much body fat. Overweight people can be overweight from too much fat or they can be overweight because they have a lot of muscle (like weight lifters). Of course, over fat is worse for you than if you are overweight from a large muscle mass.

i think you are doing d right thing by calling it what it is. When most people say "overweight" what they really mean is "over-fat", but when they think about weight loss they don't make d distinction between just losing weight & fat loss or "discriminated" weight loss...

Over weight > your BMI is in high range
Over fat> you are Obese ......
well there is not such a big difference per se, but over weight is more civilised term for over fat
