Very shy and quiet girl. Flirts a bit. Smiles alot when I see her. I've caught her looking at me at lunch. I'm taking her to homecoming. I've been told she'll try to not talk to me in the hallway to kinda bug me/play with my head. Tonight, one of my friends found out that she doesn't like me. Or at least, according to whoever told her. Whats the sense in her acting how she acts, and not liking me? Is her friend just covering for her? Thanks.

ignore the friend and take her to homecomming and see what happens, you dont ever have to see her again if she acts like she perfers someone else.

If she's shy and quiet and she's smiling and flirting, she likes you. I'm willing to bet that your friend is either lying or got some bad info. Ask the girl yourself because the grapevine isn't very reliable.

There are a lot of possibilities. Your friend could be lying. Maybe the girl only likes you as a friend. Who knows? You really need to just go up to this girl and ask her if she likes you.

ill tell you exactly whats up.girls play this game where they might not like a guy but theyre curious as to weather or not they can get you so they play games to see if and how you respond.if you like her then dont let her or no one else know.if you want her to want you then just ignore her completely.dont even look at her just act like she doesnt exist.then you will see her start playin games to try to get your attention but keep ignoring her pretty soon shell be wrapped around your finger.chicks want what they cant have

Ask her str8 out. Thats the only for sure way. Our opinions wouldn't matter because we don't know! She might like u, she might not. Just ask her and let her know u like her......it's better to know now than to get stood up on homecoming.....

when a girl does that she most likely does like u.. but shes too scared to admit it so she wont say anything....
dont really listen to what people say cuz the story can get swithched around and its all this "he said she said"
