am I retarded?
Sometimes, when I press ', the search comes up. Nice if you type something like "don't". Of course, this is not always the case.
Sometimes, I can't scroll up and down with keys in a site. But not always.
What is the/my problem?

Dunno, I don't have any of those problems on my work PC my home PC or my laptop in either Linux or Windows.

Sounds like a bad download, try downloading a fresh version. Sometimes the internet is busy and can cause bad downloads. It happened to me. I havent expercianced a problem since. I also dont use the google search bar , i just get the yahoo bar, less bugs.

In my experience Firefox is a lot less buggy than IE. It sounds to me as if you have a problem with your keyboard. Try using another one. Intermittent symptoms like that almost always point to hardware, not software.

sounds like you got a bad version of firefox, make sure you got the official program by going to the website to download the program and make sure you got the newest version by updating.

I get the feeling that there is something not quite happy under its hood, but not enough to warant going back to IE
