I dont really do big things for girls but how much do the little things like saying happy birthday, good game last night, or holding the door open and letting them go in front of you in a line for something? How much do these little things do for you?

A lot! Much bigger than the bigger things. When someone give me something regardless to how much it cost or what size, and it came straight from the heart, that means the world to me.....I remember when me and my ex went to seperate schools at one point in time, we were both struggling and on our own. He wrote me a long letter, which was sweet, but the last page was an out line of his hand......that meant a lot to me.....so little things do matter as long as it was with good intent and from the heart.

The little things will count, but only if you are dating the type of girl that notices and appreciates the little things. But if its her birthday, just saying "happy birthday" and holding the door open for her won't cut it. At least a poem, card, a flower...something a bit bigger than the standby "little things"

Everybody does the big things, they are the no brainers. The difference that gets noticed is doing the small things like you mentioned to send the message you truly cherish and respect her. Do them for her, do them for you. Make the difference! It does matter!

it depends on the girl. A good girl would appreciate that, on the other hand, they can be divas thinking that they are gift to men and feel entitled to stomp on the little people, not that you are just being unappreciative. Do it, be yourself, you will make an impression.

They count a lot. Personally I prefer them to gifts and such. I do notice such politeness and caring that comes from the heart, it makes me feel good - but I am very good at noticing if it's not genuine.

oh my god!!! that is so major, the little things are so important to me cuz the materialistic things don't mean a dam thing,lil things make you feel so warm and fuzzy inside when someone actually makes you feel important or cared about....it makes me love that person so much more, then someone who is trying to buy me off......keep it up.... your 1 in a million

i do the big things for the girls but honestly for me the little things mean the most for me. idk why i am that way i just am. i mean i don't mind the big things but that's not what i look for in a relationship. i give big but don't need big in return.
