Soma (carisoprodol) is neither a narcotic nor a barbiturate. It is a skeletal muscle relaxant.

Soma's are just likeValium if you take 10mg of Valium it will feel like you just took a soma.Go to webmd and look up soma and it will tell you that it's a muscle relaxant along with valium and other ones that don't work as well

Yes, I believe so. If not technically, it sure works like one.

Also, be careful with that stuff, it can induce seizures, AKA, the "Soma Shuffle".

It's a narcotic,muscle relaxer.It can make you very sluggish and slow.Be careful with it.Make sure you take it as directed.There are a lot of side effects.♥
