there IS no perfect weight. beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and although too skinny or too obese is unhealthy, try to stay in between. usually youll know if your too heavy for your height... you just feel... uncomfortable. you should ask the question to yourself, "what do I feel comfortable as?" some men prefer petite, some like some cushion. but what do you like? don't look at Cosmo to what you should look like, look to yourself, and just keep in shape. they go by your BMI, (body mass index,) but what they dont take into consideration is your bone structure and frame size. if your 5'8 and have a large ribcage, and long legs, you shouldnt weigh 120. its unhealthy. I would say a nice healthy range for 5'8 or so is 140-160, but hey, thats just me. m 5'8, and I am curvy, muscular, athletic, and healthy then most women who are 5'8 and 130 pounds. im that height, and weigh 170, but look slim. ( I also have 38 DD's, thats why I say 160 if you have normal sized boobs.) llol

it depends on your body type, and remember, muscle weighs more than fat, so if you're well toned, you'll weigh more than someone the same size thats not as toned.
i'd say you're in the 125 - 150 on average if you're in that height, that can range depending on body type.
also, i knew a girl in high school that was always upset about her weight, but, and i'm not trying to be a pig, she had abnormally huge breats, so i'd bet those added at least 5 lbs to her. like i said, body type can change your overall weight.

First, look in a mirror. Is the weight distributed in the right places?
If not, then you need to get in shape.Don't worry so much
about the scales. That's something left over from the 20th
century.

A good rule of thumb is 100 pounds for 5 ft. tall, and add 5 pounds for each inch. For you, 140 would be good.

I think that as long as you are healthy and feel comfortasbe with yourself what the medical people say does not matter.
