a 302 iswhen they take u in hospital 4 up to 72 hours for obsevation in mental ward. if this happens & they dont like what they see, they can keep u 4 as long as they want. even if u sign ueself in, sometimes its hard 2 get back out. i suggest, if u do this, & want out soon, u gotta b a 'normal' person, that is, no tantrums or threats of suiced or murder ect.... play their 'game'. and b as sweet as pie. but if u really really want their help, stay.
