I'm a junior, and I turn 17 tomorrow, and part of me is terrified that that me and my boyfriend's 1 year anniversary is on the 27th. I mean it is a big thing! I know that nothing will change, but What if he isn't the one for me? What if I'm wasting my time with someone who won't make me happy. I want to accomplish my dreams before I get married, and I just don't know how this relationship will last? I'm a very confident person, and he just isn't, he cares about what people think, whereas I could care less. I don't know, i'm just worried, has anyone ever felt like that before?

ive felt that way also but i actually got married on my 1 year. weve been together for 3 now and every thing is the same. you have to be happy about it. its like after your first year of high school. it makes you nervous but ounce the second year comes things just keep getting easier to deal with. you get more comfortable. your 17 . im not saying go get married. i recomend getting things acomplished first but you have to remember your maturing. wemon do that before men. it could take him several years from now you just have to take it day by day and dont push him or yourself to far.

I am going through the exact same thing right now we make our year mark in Oct. And I think its going to be a time to look over the year and weight the good verse thebad and see if it is resonable to go along with the relationship or if it was just fun while it lasted.

since it is your first relationship i take it don't worry i am very experienced at these t hings myself but is is normal to be scared or nervous . everyone goes through it . i didn't because i a have never been nervous , i been engaged to be married to the sameman of 2 years and almost 1 month. i went through two previous engagements and been dating and had 42 relatioships. its been a bumpy road but each passing month withint that year makes it worth while it teaches you more about that person then you ever knew ok.. so keep calm.

Life is not a bed of roses. There are at times of ups and downs, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Life is full of ironies. One thing for sure, whatever it will holds for the furture, always have faith in it and enjoy what you have today and you will then appreciate the true meaning of life :-)
