By working out, you are gaining muscle, instead of fat.

Most people will lose some weight, when they first start working out, but as they continue, they start putting the weight back.

But what they are adding is lean muscle tissue, instead of fat, so they are better off for it.

Muscle weighs more than fat, so this is probably not unusual. See where you are after about 6 weeks of excercise. Possibly consult someone at the gym if you are still not losing weight, or at least changing your proportions.

This is totally normal. When someone starts to workout, they will be building muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. So, it's normal to gain some weight when you workout. It doesn't matter what you weigh, it's the size you want to be. I hope this helps.
