I would have to say that is way to young. You are close to 18 years old and after that can we say "Jail Bait" literally!
When you are in your teen years things change SO much in even just 1 year. If you were 30 and she was 27. No that isn't a big deal at all. But at these ages I would say no it won't work. You are at different maturity levels and levels in life period.
I know you might fancy this person, but I would say there are several people out there. Find someone your own age. In the long run you will enjoy the relationship better.
As sweetness had indicated her parents being 4 years apart, well they are also older and so as I said above. When you get to certain ages, no it doesn't matter nearly as much. 14 is so very young, please don't get involved in this. In can land you in a whole lot of trouble that is just not worth it right now!

umm yes....I know people are always saying that age doesn't matter but it does when you are that young. If the 17 yr old is male then it seems like you are taking advantage of her but Visa verse its just weird because at 14 males are still quite immature.
Basically not a good idea

Well Its not against the law. However once your 18 if your having sex with the 14/15 year old then yes that is wrong its considered "unlawful sexual conduct with a minor".
Im 19 and my man is 36 so I cant really say much there other then advise you of the laws.

It is soooo wrong. I have a 14 year old daughter and I would kill any 17 year old boy that came sniffing around here. 3 years isn't that big of a difference, but at that age, it is.

Yes!!!!!! Totally, definitely, for sure....there is no way a 17 year old should date a 14 year old. There is no way a 14 year old should date anyway.

my friend is 16 and his gf is 14, and that dont seem wrong, but 17 seems totaly diff. idk, i guess to some people it would seem wrong, but in 2 years it wouldnt really be all that big of a diff. i mean, at least you arn't like 23 years old tryin to go out with someone your age (like some ppl im sure do).

in my book age aint nothing but a number but by law this is rape depending on what state you are located in. Follow your heart but be careful you dont want trouble bacause if he gets charged with rape he will have to register as a sex offender and he wont be able to attend school anywhere. So be careful
