Would this be caleld premarital sex still? If my girlfriend and I were to fall deeply in love with each other and plan to live the rest of our lives together and I got 2 kids with her but the good thing is that I am still with her and supporting our 2 childs even though we are not officially married. And plus, I know the purpose of marrying someone is to join two souls into one but you can do that without marrying? Is that still called pre-marital sex if you were to have sex with your girlfriend but still stay loyal to her and act like you are a married couple and do what a dad does???

Why don't you just marry her then? It would make that tiny bit of guilt you were wondering about fade away. And yes, it's premarital sex if you are not legally married, there's no way around it. I don't really get it though, if you want to stay with her forever, AND you have children, it sounds like you're pretty settled. So then why haven't you married?

By definition it is premarital sex. Once you are married, then it won't be premarital.

Now your situation sounds far more complicated than the question. I don't think at this point if you have 2 kids with her that we're talking about premarital sex. If you are truly committed to her in your heart and she is with you, then your love has you joined.

Why not make it official and get married? That would take care of your concerns with this question!

Good luck.

It is in fact called premarital sex, but you shouldn't feel bad about it. Sex is a very talked about subject and hard to avoid. If you honestly feel that you love this person and want to show them in ways that you feel are special, then you have that right. Love is a beautiful thing. a Priest once told me that Love means sacrifice.
Sex is a way to show your love for someone and to create a life.
That is why, in a Catholic perspective, is a sin to masturbate and have sex with the same sex. But everyone knows that
temptation can take over the body. That is why you are in control of your own body.

In some states if you are together for more then seven years its common law marriage.

But the question is are you scared of commitment.

When your children are old enough to understand that you are not married they believe this is normal and for some couples it is. You would as a couple need to decide this if this what you want.
ultimately, you are living with the guilt or not. good luck.

It's still premarital sex. Although you act like a married couple you're not actually a married couple.

Fraid so. If you have sex before the act of getting married, it's pre-marital.........see how that works out. But I understand what you mean, you feel in your heart that you are married and that is what matters. But if you have religion and you follow your beliefs, then your in the wrong.

You do not need a marrage license to prove that you are in love. Unless she is asking for marriage then if you are fine the way you are then stay that way. I have a couple that we hang out with that have been engaged for 14 years. they have a child together. Love is love. Marriage is a piece of paper and a reduction in some costs. If you are happy with the way things are then let it stay that way.

Yes it is. Acting married and being married are very different. So it is still premarital sex.
