Nothing in our known universe is immortal or magically appears. Everything is in a state of death once created. Planets, stars, life. Life and the parameters as we humans have defined it shows that everything comes from something. The only thing we have in humanity that is immortal and NEVER CHANGING is GOD. Why? Did god not come from somewhere/something?

note: This is from a monotheistic point of view. Somehow polytheism which was AROUND FROM THE BEGINNING OF HUMANITY........was wrong and replaced by the ONE GOD theory.

I know all about the holy trinity....confirmed catholic....just thinking outloud. I have always wondered if God being the father, son, and holy spirit.....was simply a MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER.

First one must assume "God" is not a single entity to answer what "God's" parents are like. If we assume "God" is not a single entity then "God" must be a part of species. If "God" is a part of a species then we can begin to answer the question. The child is not always the product of the parents (i.e., the apples don't fall far from the tree). If "God" is another species, then "God" has a few problems because "God" is selfish, jealous and emotionally unbalanced and prone to tantrums. This may not be to the fault of the parents of "God". "God" may simply be an outcast who had no playmates and "created" this playground we live in and thus, wants to be the sole provider, one who is worshipped, etc. in order to fulfill its own needs, wants and desires.

that's just the problem right there. our understanding isn't at it's height and therefore we cannot understand these thing. we are not even fully knowlegdable about our own anatomy. I'm mainly talking about the brain. Recently there was a discovery that a section of the brain is meant for religioun. such that if that section is stimulated a person under goes a faith increase or belief. for example a person might lift their hands up and start crying to God or whateva. Point is anyways that there are many thing we do not know. and when addressing a problem we should address it as ignorant minds not all knowing minds.

1. Whatever begins to exist has a cause
2. The universe began to exist
3. Therefore, the universe has a cause.

Simply put, God is not the sort of thing that "begins to exist" and so does not fall into the category of things belonging in premise 1 above. Whatever brought the universe into being must itself be uncaused, since the beginning of Time at the Big Bang assures us that there cannot be an infinite series of past events.

God always was and always will be. That is kind of hard to wrap our finite minds around. Believe it or not, many Christians struggle with this because we are so locked into time, everything we know has a beginning and an end...except God. Faith gets believers through the mysteries of God. Without faith, how can anyone except: always was and always will be, the trinity, eternity, heaven and hell, creation, and a myriad of miracles. Pray for faith, it is a gift from God. I will pray for you also.

Well, if you ever met his Father, you would be face down on the ground, just like Peter, James, and John. His mother is pretty approachable though. She even talked him into turning water into wine when people weren't ready stop the wedding celebration.

i think of that's significant for toddlers to appreciate the mother and dad perspectives on each and every concern, whether the mother and dad do not agree. That shows how people who do not agree on each and every element in life, can nevertheless get alongside, and love one yet another. My mom and dad raised me with out faith, in hassle-free terms "goodness".....i'm a non secular christian now, and that i visit boost my toddlers with the classes of Christ, in spite of the undeniable fact that, i visit instruct them the different religions ideals (or lack there of) besides. i think of tolerance, expertise, and acceptance are significant classes to benefit.

Old question/riddle to whom do the gods pray to.
From a monotheisic point of view . The CREATOR also called(THE ANCIENT OF DAYS.THE SELF CREATED ONE ) has no parents as it created its self out of the chaos that was before it and gave it order.

Jesus Christ's Father is God and He is also God (Trinity). Other than that, God does not have parents. You are blinded by a lie, dear.
