When people say that the Jews don't believe in Jesus, they are referring to the fact, that most Jews are still waiting for their Messiah to come.
They do not believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God, sent here to show people the way to the Kingdom of Heaven.
They simply believe that Jesus was a carpenter.

I think Jews believe in Jesus, just as a prophet and not the son of God as Christians do.

Anyways, "jews don't believe in Jesus" is misleading.
Jews don't believe that Jesus was the son of God because they say that there was a translation error and that the word for God was interchangeable with the word for Father; which resulted in confusion and inaccuracy. So when Jesus spoke of his Father, and being the son of God, he didn't exactly mean it like that.

These people are considered "Jews For Jesus" and aren't considered Jews in the Jewish religion.

That is an incomplete statement. In the Jewish religion, Jesus of Nazareth is respected as a rabbi and prophet, just not as the Messiah.
