There is nothing in the Bible that says women should not wear pants. In the Bible it states that women should not wear the clothing of men. They simply could not wear clothes that belonged to a man. AKA clothes that have actualy been worn by a man, against an man's skin...
Also it could be assumed that at the time of the original writings, that men wore robes, skirts and dresses. Men did not wear pants except in some so called "barbarian" societies.
Either way, I believe that the original intent was to keep women separted from men and to keep them in the "place". Times have changed.

Every faith has their own belief as they see it through the Bible. This does not mean that it is right or wrong. Wearing pants or not wouldn't take you to heaven. It is faith in the Son of God that will. If this is a problem for you in that church, find another that is more liberal with clothing. Don't let that be an obstacle. Enjoy the presence of the Lord, the most important thing. Keep loving God because He loves you regardless if you wear pants or not. Don't let that stop your growth and prosperity in the Lord. I was raised in a church that did not do anything, wear pants, make-up, jewelry etc. I left the church and joined a more liberal church that went pass those pettiness and dress morally, whether it was a pants, skirt or dress.

COGIC is one of the oldest Pentecostal denominations, primarily made up of black Christians. The Assemblies of God came out of this denomination simply over racial differences.
I don't think that the COGIC has in their statement of faith that women can't wear pants. Of course individual members, and local congregations may hold this conviction, but it's not the official stand of the church. At any rate, what matters is what does the Bible say? Nowhere does the Bible say that wearing pants is a sin. The emphasis of the New Testament is to have faith in the finished work of Calvary for forgiveness of sins and for power to overcome and live a sanctified life in a sin fallen world. The idea of "put on Christ" is the teaching of the Bible.
The thought given to us by the Holy Spirit is that if you have Christ and Him crucified as the focus of your faith, then the Spirit will be at liberty in your life to lead and guide you in the way to live your life. This will keep your motives correct, even in the manner in which you dress.

If you want to beleive it , then it is great to beleive it.
But no, except for being modest there are no real specific dress codes, If there was we all would still be wearing the dress of the old testement. Men don't wear tonics anylonger and men don't all have to wear beards ( in most denominations)
dress customs and types of clothing varies from nation to nation, and pure jewish or hewbrew customs were never forced on the entire christian faith as it went around.
I beleive women should where a scaf in church to keep thier heads covered but beyond that there is no real rule.
In many ways the women dressed alot like the Muslim women of today, that was considered conservitive dress, so to be really bibical that is what you would have to wear

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking. While I am a woman and I really enjoy wearing pants, I see nothing wrong with women choosing to wear skirts or dresses instead.

I think that women should appreciate their femininity and be what God created them to be. Personally , I prefer dresses, but I think it is wrong to judge a person just for wearing pants. I have seen many women wearing pants and looking very feminine.
The Bible says that it is an abomination for a woman to dress like a man and vice versa, but to my understanding, me were not wearing pants in Biblical times. I think we need to be aware of what is in our own hearts. Are we trying to look like a man, does what we are wearing cause us to behave in a less thatn feminine manner, ( I have seen women wear pants and sit with their legs open or in ways they would not sit if they were in a dress- but I have also seen women wearing very feminie slacks and behave in a more feminine manner than others i have seen in dresses) are we dressing modestly and being mindful of the messages we are sending to others? God does not look at the outside but at the heart.
I say to women, don't wear "men's clothing" dont try to look like a man or "fit in" with the men, be modest and have a right attitude about who God created you to be and what He created you for- the way you dress will reflect oyur attitude- take care of the inside and the outside will reflect that

Well, God said come as you are........to me that means whether or not you wear dresses, skirts, or pants........God isnt gonna care.........He only cares about the condition of your heart and if you do truely Love Him and have accepted His Son Jesus into your hearts and lives as Lord and Savior. Thats what matters most to God not what you wear.
God bless you : )

Honey come in whatever you feel comfortable in, when God is ready, he might convict you and you will decide that pants are not for you anymore. But what I do say...if pant's are offensive to your brother..it will be my advice to not wear pants in his/her presence.
