billcom, i agree with you. jesus lived a Godly life, and we all can learn from him. even though i am an athiest i still believe in jesus

When I was young, I imagined that God would be revealed at the end of time. And, since I knew that this planet wouldn't last as long as will the rest of the universe, I reconciled myself to missing that farewell party at the end with God. Now that I am old, I have gained insights about "God" by using my senses and noticing nature closely and gracefully. I'm not sure if you or I or even life on this planet will achieve a conscious, rational understanding of who God really is. But, I've seen in nature that it is possible.

It all depends upon our mental calibre. Never think that God will looke like what the artists are showing as "God". Each and every day we meet him unknowingly. Sometime we can feel it also. For example , we might have planned to go some places in a particular transportation, by extraordinary situation (which arises unknowingly), we might have put off the plan. The very next day , we may come to know that some tragedy happened on that day luckily we averted the plan. (I experienced it). We can experience the God and start to realise him as per our positive approach only.

Some will tell you they already know all there is to know about God, or at least all that is needed to be known about him. I think that small minds necessarily have small Gods in order that they can comprehend. I belive there is a God, but actual God is unfathomably far beyond even the very greatest human understanding. How can we come to know and really fully understand something infinite without infinite knowledge ourselves?
Unless or until we acquire infinite understanding and become gods ourselves, my guess is a definite NO.

He is Jesus Christ the Lord who is Jehovah God from eternity - that One and very Self that has life in Himself.

God does exists and we know His character and His Love for us,found in Holy Scripture. One fine day we will walk with Him,worship Him and celebrate with Him at the great banquet He is preparing for us. He desires a personal relationship with ,believers. We see in part, but all will be revealed at the end of this age.
