I guess the reason doesn't really matter, my partner Juan and I are just really glad they did. We'll be attending our first service in Birmingham on Sunday. He's picking out a dress now - three cheers for tolerance! See y'all Sunday!

The Southern Baptists (unless one or two went rogue) do not and will not endorse homosexuality under any name.

I am sure they would welcome you to come and listen to the sermons along with others, but don't expect a "Its okay to be gay" preaching session - which while I do not agree with everything Baptists teach - I agree with them.

Homosexuality is as much a sin as a married man cheating on his wife or a person stealing or murdering or any other sin that people do.

Somehow I don't really believe you are gay - but more of a Troll trying to get reactions. One sick puppy you are.

If every denomination on the face of the earth, if everyone who names the names of Christ, if every human on the face of the earth finally decided that gay is ok, still it would be a sin because God said it was a sin. God doesn't go by "mob rules", rather he says, "thou shall not follow a multitude to do evil".
1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Romans 1, and several other places in God's Word still point out that homosexuality is sin, that if not forsaken by faith in Jesus Christ, will cause the offender their soul in hell. The Apostle Paul asked, "Do you hate me because I tell you the truth?"
