Hi,
Of all your debt, what percentage would you say is consumer-related? I mean, debt that you acquired buying stuff like CDs, DVDs, toys, computer gadgets (which can be considered non-essential)
(As opposed to "essential debt" (or investing) by which I understand something like a mortgage, or school debt) Thank you!

The only debt I have is my student loan. Most of it was essential - went on my rent, food etc but also a lot went on beer and cds. I'd say I could have maybe 30% less debt but I would have had a boring 3 years in uni.

I don't have any debt. I save my money for things I want and need and pay cash for everything. (I have older friends who I saw get into trouble with credit cards and decided not to own a personal one.)

Maybe 2-3%. I am a pay as you go person other than house.
I even pay cash for my cars, it does require saving a car payment ($400) each month so when new car is needed I have the cash. I am a big Clark fan, so I pay cash for everything.

n thats why i dont even put my money in the Bank .. n if its necessary .. i put in the "currrent account".. where there is no "profit/loss thingy"!!!!

None, I finally paid it all off, tore up my credit cards. If you want something, save for it, or live without it.

What connection does your question have to immigration? Is this a question only for immigrants?
