I like Stella (I think it's one of those names that grow on you - you may not like it at first, but then you really do; it also reminds of the movie - a great old classic: "A Streetcar Named Desire" with Marlon Brando ... yelling STELLA!), but I'm not crazy about Phoebe. The first time I ever heard the name Phoebe was on "Friends" and I didn't like the name then (I liked the character, just not the name). I definitely don't think those two names go together. Sorry!

I love the name Stella. I also like the name Phoebe. However, together they seem a bit much. They don't really flow together, IMHO.

no! Not together anyway. Shouldn't do vowel sounds (short a long e) on the end of each name like that I don't think.
Stella Rose Phoebe Dawn
If it's your baby, your choice though!

I don't necessarily like them together, it's kinda much on the tonge -(my very humble opinion) you know what I mean, but then again no one is really going to be going around calling her by both names.
She'll probably just be called that by you - when she gets into trouble... That's how I always knew I was in trouble - my mom would call my by my first name, middle names, last name - just to make sure I knew there is no one else around that she could possibly be talking to except for me!

Well, I think it sound kind of old. It sounds like a nanny name. but it depends on family background. Like I have heard weird names but then you learn why they named them that name. Maybe if it's just a name you should go for a more modern name.
