How do I connect a satellite rcvr, av rcvr, vcr and tv?

A sony tube tv, an rca home theatre, a direct sat rcvr and a sony vcr

take the RCA home theather as center
connect your sat rcvr to sat in to your RCA HT
connect the sony vcr to RCA video in

then,
connect from the RCA video out to the sony TV video in

or connect the sat rcvr video out to the sony TV direct and to get the digital surround sound, connect the digital out of your sat rcvr to the digital in of the RCA HT

The manual of the RCA home theatre will probably give you the best answer. The manuals on the other components may not include instructions for the home theatre.
