I have been burned before and I am affaird to try and give it a chance with this guy that I really like. He is planning on moving to my city once he finds a job but right now we are on the phone every night. I keep telling myself not to get too wrapped up but I really like him. What should I do?

LIFE IS FULL OF CHANCES AND OPPORTUNITIES! DON'T HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE MISTAKES OF THE LAST MAN OR MEN FROM THE PAST! YOU MIGHT MISS OUT ON THE BEST THING FOR YOU IF YOU DO! FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND TAKE A CHANCE! DON'T RUSH YOURSELF, BUT DON'T HOLD BACK EITHER! MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LOSE YOURSELF IN HIM, BUT HAVE FUN, BE SAFE AND ENJOY THE GOOD TIMES! A RELATIONSHIP IS WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT! YOU'RE NOT GONNA ALWAYS GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT, BUT IT'LL MAKE YOU STRONGER!

YES long distance relationships can work! I met my boyfriend on a mobile site called prodigits. After two months of talking I just had to see him. We spent every night on the phone for hours and hours so I know what you're going through. I went to meet him in his home state which is on east coast and had the most wonderful 3days :o) When the time came to leave it was damn near impossible for the both of us. Now that we were together in person how could we let go? Truth is... we couldn't! So, he quit his job and came back to my state in mid-west :o) We have been together 6months now. Yes, it is hard but it is well worth it if it's love!

yes they do. ive been in a long distance relationship for a while now and my boyfriend comes out here about every four months. we're only 16 and everything is perfect. don't let yourself down on him just because he doesnt live near you. absence makes the heart stronger so you have nothing to worry about. the distance is just another obstacle that millions of couples all over the world have to deal with. dont worry. :]

well maybe try to friendship thing for a little while and if you still like eachother and your both single maybe then cause he hasnt moved yet, may when he gets to the city he may be some one else he may have more connection with and that and i u shouldnt have to feel tied to, u may be someone else too in your area, but give it time and if you are still happy knowing eachother than you can work out something, like i have a failed attempts and one success. so its matter or really knowing ecahother and making time for it to work.

tell him that there will be no official relationship until he moves there. that will make him want to find a job asap if he is serious about wanting a relationship

If it is meant to be then it will work and if not it won't rather he is there or not.
