Not all Christians are against fun. I know plenty of cool Christians that aren't trying to go around forcing people to stop doing enjoyable activities (like sex, alcohol, drugs, dancing, tattoos, gay people, etc.).

I think it's sad that what is most likely a minority of Christians are so outspoken about their want to make everyone exactly like themselves that they are giving the entire religion a bad name.

I am not christian but muslim. But i do know christianity is not to stop one self from being happy, but infact the exact opposite.

Despite the differences Islam and Christianity have, they do share this in common, that both religions ask for MODERATION of an aspect of life. And this is proven, to be the happyest way to live, even by athiests.

For example, christians must not lie, and same as muslims. Does that make you any less happier? NO

Christians/Muslims must not commit adultary! does that make you less happier? INFACT NO,. you are happier when your life is balanced, with a set purpose.

I can go on forever, but i think you would have gotten the point if you were truely looking for the answer.

You make it sound as if Christianity is no fun. In fact, I think that was probably your intent.

What you may consider "fun" and you see the church considering "not fun" is most likely sin. All sin leads to death. You don't want to die do you? It's then for your own good that we tell you not to have "fun" as you see it.

Christianity is a challenge. But it has a longer lasting, eternal high that never runs out and lasts longer then any drug or drink. I know, I use to be a hardcore alcoholic.

My sister has a good theory. She said what if christianity was created to give people piece of mind before they died. What if there was no heaven or hell. Heaven was just a farce and hell was made up to make people behave.

Your sentence causes others to have to put it together for you.

Anyway, some present Christianity like that. That wouldn't be me.

Sounds right to me....Jealousy and "spiritual pride" run rampant within their own group, so imagine how they feel about the non-believer, vicious.

What utter nonsense. Quite the opposite is true.

Somebody might be hungry, and need fed.
Somebody might be naked and cold, and need clothing and blankets.
Somebody might be sad, and need comforted.
Somebody might be sick, and need tending.
Somebody might be wrongfully imprisoned, and need a visitor.
Somebody might be thirsty, and need a drink.

You don't remember these words, do you?
