Ok i like this guy maybe even love him. But he has came over with his brother and he and his brother were like insulting me and i asked him if he had pranked called me a couple of days ago and he was like "i could call anyone..whay would i call you!" And so i started to think he didnt like me but then we went to the movies with my sister and him and in the previews we were bored so then he let share his ipod and and then in the movie i thought that he wanted to hold my hand but couldnt because out my sister. And so we both put our arms up on the elbow rest and then he just kept it there and i took mine off and so did he and then i put mine back up and then so did he. But he was saying before the movie that i was annoying and kept texting him. so i dont know i really like him!!! What is he thinking what should i do i dont want to sound needed or anything!!! HELP!!

im 14.....and i think of hi all the time....and like if he had mentioned a song or a show he liked or anything like that everytime i hear it or see it i think of him.

Erica, How old are you? You sound like you are just beginning to date, so I am going to assume that you are fairly young.
I'm going to let you in on a little secret.
This guy reaaaaallly likes you. He's just so afraid to get teased by his brother & friends that he acts the way he does.
He's just not comfortable showing his true feelings for a girl like you.
Be patient, & tolerate some of the goofy things he does when others are around, & let him know privately how you feel about him. Gradually, he will start to get used to the idea that he likes a girl, & he'll treat you better.
Meanwhile don't throw your self-esteem in the dumpster just to keep him around. While he's practicing how to be a decent BF, you can practice standing up for yourself when he starts up again with the insults. He'll have to learn how to treat a lady, because you are worth being treated with respect.

Don't think so much about the elbow thing. It could be just by chance that he did that. Or he was just doing it to tease you. That's not really the point. I also think that since he avoided your question about him pranking you that maybe he answered with a question because he got caught. And maybe he wanted you to feel stupid for hoping that he'd call you. And he's too prideful to give you a straight answer. I'd quit calling him or texting him. See if he contacts you or says anything. And if he does just tell him that you didn't want to annoy him and that you think he's rude to you and just say "why would I want to talk to someone that doesn't even like me?" then maybe he'll say whether or not he likes you.

You have to dump this loser. He is showing no respect for you when you are alone or around people. You can do much better with a convict or a mortician. You cannot love him because that means you like to be abused if that is the case. If he is good in bed, you must know that the sex is not gonna keep you happy outside the bedroom. You can do bad by yourself, so don't let him take away your self confidence. He is not worth your time unless you really do want the insults and abuse !!!

You like him because... well, just because. He is a jerk and you should forget him. At your age it is incredibly important that you surround yourself with very nice and gentle guys. You may not love them as much as this guy, but they will keep you safe. They will take care of you, and they will make sure you aren't taken advantage of. Relationships at your age can be very dangerous because you fall in love more easily and you are very young so your judgement may be somewhat insufficient in weeding out the bad guys.
Forget him please. For your sake. At least until you are much older and you can deal with him properly.
