As a person that has been batteling with OCD for 30 years now I would definately say yes. Are you on any medications for the OCD? There is a drug out there to help with it, it is called Luvox and works only on the OCD. Think about talking to your doctor about it.

u know what, probably..since ur trying to concentrate on the coordination of breathing and tongue movements.. i think u should ask for help from a specialist or something.. if u saw that documentary in mtv about OCD, it's a little weird at the same time, kind of disturbing. no offense,though.. i thought i had OCD before but i tried to stop weird gestures and stuff. well, i hope u get over it.. tell me what happens next. tc

yes- it is very, very, common for this to occur. This can occur with any activity because the brain gets "stuck" on a certain idea or thought. To compensate, try mediation exercises or talk to your doctor about meds for concentration.

Best of luck.

I'm not sure if it's common, but it could certaintly be associated with it. The obsessions and/or compulsions can be directed at just about anything, any activity.
