here is a few ideas to can try
1- wash your hair and place a deep conditioner in it leave it in for three mins, wash out most of it, than get a pick and start at the bottom of your hair.
2- Put a few drops of baby oil onto your brush and try combing it through the knots.
3- Always start at the bottom little by little and dont try to comb it when its wet. Always use a pic as well. Or wide tooth comb.
Good Luck

It may see impossible now but trust me, this is easy. Get into your shower and get your hair as wet as possible then coat all the knots with conditioner. Use a wide toothed comb to pick through the tangles and repeat if it is really bad. Voila!

Use detangler spray or conditioner (on wet hair). Comb through gently with your fingers until it is untangled enough to brush or comb it.

to get out tangles, i used to take a shower, get my hair wet, rub in conditioner, and start brushing it, starting at the ends. It takes a long time, especially if you have really thick long hair (like mine). but it works well, and isn't that painful.

ok... here goes (iv had a LOT of personal experience with this)k
hop in the shower and grab a hairbrush. wet your hair and brush starting at the ends and working your way up. you may give yourself split ends. wash it and then put hair gel or mousse on it.
if this doesn't work then try combing it through..
your not going to believe me but if you've got curly hair you could straighten it with milk. see? told u tht u wouldnt believe me!.

Use Olive oil and start at the ends working your way up until you reach the scalp. Shampoo olive oil out when done and use a detangler comb..not a regular comb.

The best way(no joke) is to use butter. It's also good for your hair. Just apply butter liberally and then shampoo. Your hair will not only be tangle-free but will be extremely soft.
