Bottom line: if I am spending time with you, flirting or not, I am interested. Most men won't spend time with a woman they aren't at least slightly interested in.
As I have preached on here many times over, if you like him, take the initiative. Make the first move. There's no reason men should have to do it all the time.
Take the risk.

ya know.. if he was flirting, YOU would know. You wouldn't have to ask. It's called chemistry and you can't help but know. I think you have answered your own question, he is def.. flirting, because just being nice is clearly NOT flirting and if you cant tell the difference, then it's flirting for sure... :P... good luck..

I flirt very often but even flirting can be inocent, but when there is interest he will try to make you feel special, he will make sure you notice his attentions towards you and maybe even try touching lihtly on your shoulders, your hair, if he does that he does like you.

flirting can be seen in body language--lots of eye contact, close proximity to you, lots of smiling, and the topic is usually more personal than general.

Well i am very blunt most of the time and if you need to ask or you are not sure then ASK! You can talk to someone for a while and you can tell if they like you or not. My best thoughts in this is to ask if they like you.

So, what's the situation? Is he complimenting youu, or staring at you? Can he not keep his eyes off of you? He is probably flirting, if he is doing these things. I am soo tired.

they are the same thing, but if it leads to a sexual relationship then it flirting, just being nice, means no sex....I'll bet he wants it, just ask him....

check if his pupil dilate when you look at him face to face. if they widen, then he likes you. although this method is difficult because the pupils are so small, and it's even more difficuilt if they have dark eyes.
