Will Combat Engineer help for a career as a carpenter? Or what jobs will i be able to get after i get out?

I have the same question for Bridge Crewmember, what career fields will it help me on?

I served as a combat engineer in the USMC from 1966 to 1969 and we were cross-trained in carpentry, bridge assembly, minefield laying, demolitions, booby-trap disarming, etc. Stateside we did some minor carpentry work erecting "hootches" half-tents, with wooden foundations.

I don't think it was a great training for carpentry. Probably better to find a real carpenter and get apprenticed to him.

One of the funny things they get you doing in the military engineers is to look for "level bubbles" and "skyhooks".

Typically, as an Army combat engineer, 12B MOS, you are assigned to find and detonate mines. If you want a career as a carpenter, there is an MOS in the Army for that. Do not get fooled by the recruiter. Most 12B's are like grunts, too.
