I felt nothing wrong yesterday, woke up this am w/ a terrible sore throat. I've been achy all day but no fever. Any ideas?

Sounds like strep. Don't wait around get to the Dr. You don't always have fever with strep but the puss bumps are a dead givaway! Strep can damage your heart if left untreated.
Also it doesn't go away on it's own, it has to have antibiotics.

Could be Strep throat. It's important to go to the doctors for a throat culture to see if you have Strep, and if you do you need antibiotics. Strep throat when not treated can lead to heart problems.

Sometimes that has to do with your tonsils. You can usually use Q-tips to get them out. Or gargle with warm salt water to kill bacteria. Also try massaging your glands on your throat muscles. that helps relieve some of the pain. especially if your glands are swollen from the sore throat.

aaaaaahhhhh the famous STREPP THROAT NEED A DOSE OF ANTIBIOTICS TO CLEAR IT UP I usually get it when my allergies act up and my nose doesnt drain until I go to bed at nite which causes it.
