Sigh -- so many of us need to learn how to have a relationship.

As we've grown more isolated and don't live in small villages where you know everyone we simply never learned how to act in a relationship.

Seldom do we stop to examine the things we take for granted.

We don't know good ways to communicate or have an argument.

If we were to look to pop culture for answers, we'd have 30 years of men being portrayed as buffoons on television. Men have been trashed the past 40 years -- traditional roles have been erased or noted with great skepticism.
Since men held the power for so long the idea of 'mens rights' is laughed at! Today women hold the reins in relationships, they fought for the right to their own body and won, which is good. Yet, the conventional male simply does not know where he stands because the rules are ... gone.
The empowerment of women has run amok and become irresponsible. Daily I read right here in Answers, "plans for revenge, ladies?" How anyone can see this as acceptable behavior is beyond me.

Ooops... what was the question again?

... sorry about that.

They can and they cant, you see they probably treat someone good when it is convenient for them and that is not love at all abuse is not just physical it is also mental and verbal (not saying this person is abusive) it could turn into something worse whoever this someone is should think about if this person is really worth staying with but i would have to say no if they treat you lie crap

Because it is not Love, sweetie.......sometimes it is a word that people use to control others, such as in your case. I say leave the relationship or stop whining about it.
