Since male calico's are very rare, probably worth more than any of us are.

Not much. They are always sterile so it wouldn't be much of an investment.

All calicos are not female and the vast majority of them are. It takes two X chromosomes to make a calico and therefore, like humans, the offspring would be female.

Occasionally there is an genetic aberration with a male having an extra chromosome, an XXY. This can happen in humans too.

probably not much, but someone out there might pay for a male calico kitty...something like 98 percent of calicos are female, if the chance arises that there is a male, odds are it is sterile, also, is it a true calico, could it be a tabby with mixed colors to appear calico?....

I worked for forgotten 4-paws, and we had gotten a male celico in and a woman bought him for $1500.
