Spend time with them.
Teach them to read and write. Play games with them and with the family.
And, if you can, travel. A broader view of any other culture has a mighty impact on anyone.
Have friends over for card games from other ethnic backgrounds - skin color, religion, beliefs.
Teaching your child that "different is not bad" is huge ... so so huge.
Teach frugality in money. That to save for today means buying really cool stuff later.
My mom (age 80) last summer made all of us who were visiting -- her kids and grandkids all watch To Kill a Mockingbird together.
Teach discipline without ambition.
Be at peace and be grounded yourself in the ways of society knowing that all God's creatures are to be cherished, one's word is one's bond and by doing good deeds we fight entropy making the universe a better place.
And .... teach that if you fail, no matter what, you can always forever always come home.
Peace.

Instill in them the sense of right and wrong and personal responsibility and accountability. Ensure they are morally grounded. Punish them when they are wrong, but make sure they understand why and what the expectations are. Reward them when they exceed your expectations. Reward them once in a while just for the heck of it.
Most of all, spend time with them. The more you do together, the more like you they will become. If you habits and personality are good, then theirs will be as well. Take the time to answer their questions and teach them things, even if it cuts into your time.

Old fashion values. Play catch, go jogging or biking. Teach them how to play sports. Sports is the best way to help them become team players in life. Just spend quality time with them.

An evil spirit sounds plenty like the terrible feeling a infant might have while it lost its experience of risk-free practices. in keeping with risk the solid spirits are therapeutic capability or ancestors that are attempting to heal and convenience the child. it unquestionably relies upon on your very own ideals. i don't think of all people in this board will argue with you that it is sick and those human beings ought to be locked away continually to maintain them from hurting any further little ones.

Im 15.. but dont spoil your child. If they want candy, give them carrots or fruit. If your child wants an i pod. get them something else. Us kids rely on too much technology today and thats why most of us are fat and stupid. Dont let your kids watch stupid kid shows. it will brain wash them..
that is my opinion.. you may take it or discard it.
Thank you very much for reading. sorry if i sound wacky.
