You may get results to ease or cure hemorroids with an over-the-counter treatment or a prescription hemorroids cure. Hemorroid medication can ease discomfort and pain during the time it takes for the body to naturally heal. The drug store will provide access to a many type of treatments for hemorroids: topical rectal anesthetic and analgesic creams and ointments to relieve pain and itching. If it persists consult with a proctologist for possible anal fissure.

You shouldn't worry. People get them usually from constantly getting constipated, it is very common with women giving birth. If you do get them, there are creams prepartation H, and witch hazel usually works to get rid of them. They are usually caused by a straining, if you are constipated you strain or (bare down) alot more, like when women are pushing to give birth. If you sit on the toilet to long, or lifting weights can also cause them. There is tissue and muscle around the anus and straining over time or alot at once can stretch this tissue and the veins get irritated and swell up or protrude from the anus. And it is very irritating and painful and can bleed. But they can go away if u get them.

Ok.. that first answer is disgusting. I wouldn't go that rout.

I've never had one but I've had friends describe it... they aren't comfortable. One guy said he would just push it back up in there cuz it was so big. I think once you get to that point its time for surgery. Otherwise they have creams...

Good luck. Don't push too hard :o)

I got hemroids while I was pregnant with my kids. They are uncomfortable but not usually life threatening. They can hurt and bleed. If they give you too many problems see your doctor.

They hurt and bleed. Once you get them you will more easily get them again. Why worry, though, if you have never had it?
